Jean-Michel and Nathalie created their business in Cancale in June 2019 after years of experience in baking elsewhere, and having won many prizes. Their major asset - you only have to sniff the air around you - an antique bread oven in which they bake up to 200 baguettes throughout the day.
They offer two different ranges of bread - about 10 loaves are marked Parisse (flour from an Appellation d'Origine Protégée - place of origin guaranteed), while others are organic, a hard certification to obtain.
Their point in common is that all the flour is exclusively French and sourced as locally as possible for your buckwheat, sunflower and multi-fruit bread...On Tuesdays and Fridays you can buy pizzas, the dough made on the premises. And every day you can choose from the many pastries, tarts, apple turnovers and the Cancale brioche.... using pure AOP butter!
